As a part of MANCC’s Embedded Writers Initiative, I joined Mina Nishimura and Kota Yamazaki in residency during their creation of Forgotten. This work considers an abandoned, forgotten and invisible body, and its potentiality of wondering across multi-layered and complex in-between spaces of life and death, light and darkness, physical and metaphysical, and “this world” and “another world,” while deepening their common practice of weather-like, inner energy-based movements.
