"when loss is what gathers" is a short prose poem written for Gathering Space, a chapbook and non-virtual place for sharing ideas in the COVID era. These memories, written in the form of image descriptions, are some of the ghosts that have shaped my embodiment. I gathered these fragments over the past year, reflecting on the way loss accumulates and gathers.

Edited and published by Aynsley Vandenbroucke, the book is free and is being distributed throughout NYC and beyond during Spring 2021 at such places at Powerhouse Books, The Invisible Dog, Unnameable Books, and Word.
